Emails, phone calls & texts were always answered quickly which gave us peace of mind and confidence in you. Get Funked is an awesome band and we would recommend you in a heart beat! Your vocals and music are second to none. It is a hugely talented, cool, sexy & exciting band and a pleasure to have around. Simply the best gig I've ever been to in London! We bought tickets randomly through seetickets. We were just looking for a fun night out but we couldn't believe it when we got down to the venue. Get Funked were without a doubt one of the best parts of our wedding day! Having struggled to find a quality, contemporary band suitable for our occasion, we were thrilled with the standard of Get Funked. We were absolutely delighted with our choice of wedding band and Get Funked's impact on our big day was immense! From the procession/ceremony music through to the sets during dinner, they created just the right atmosphere. As a 'first time' booker, I was rather intimidated and daunted with the prospect of booking a live artist. Those fears proved unfounded however, as the process of booking a band through Alive Network proved nothing less than a pleasure. First the booking engine Alive operates, allows one to browse a significant range of acts, based on style and availability. The booking process itself is personal, which is important and gave peace of mind. And then the band itself, WOW... ...we booked Get Funked for our wedding and they simply were most spectacularly amazing live act I have ever had the pleasure to dance my socks off too. The dance floor was literally crammed from the second they started playing to the time they, regrettably, left the stage. Without a shadow of a doubt, they made our wedding - well them and the vodka luge. Thank you.

Our wedding was probably a lot smaller than their usual venue and what they are used to playing to but they were just amazing and everyone I have spoken to since the wedding have commented on how brilliant they were: "best band we have ever seen" "voices were amazing" "can I have the lead singers numbers" Just a few of the comments we have had since we got back. I am obviously really excited that we have booked them for our Christmas Party on 23rd December now!! I just wanted to write and say - rather belatedly - how enormously pleased Emma and I were with Get Funked at our wedding in October. The music was fantastic, you guys did everything we asked of you and all the team were very professional both on and off the stage. The Jazz set as guests were arriving set the tone wonderfully and the main performance was a highlight of the day which all the guests are still talking about. I'm glad we went for the full 10-piece band in the end, we knew we had made the right decision as soon as the brass solo kicked in on the first number you played! I think it's fair to say that you guys are not the cheapest band out there but I can truthfully say that you were worth every penny.

On Saturday 11th October Get Funked played at our wedding day in Etton, Cambs. Both Matt and I wanted to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to the band for what was a totally unique and fantastic experience. I know I'm biased, but I have never been to a wedding with such superb and professional entertainment. The standard was so high I felt like we should have charged an admission fee! (would have helped the parents with the hefty wedding bill I guess..) In all seriousness though, the musicians were top class and the vocalists out of this world. They were worth every single penny, making our day even more memorable and special. I know they were a real highlight for all our guests as well, who kept coming up to us in droves asking about them and saying how amazing they all were. I also hope the band enjoyed the day - they had some serious dancers and stupid moves to contend with, so hopefully that kept them entertained. Please pass this message on to the band, as we'd really like them to know how extra special their performance made our wedding day. You really did tie our day together, from James playing piano out in the gardens (with the sun coming out), the Jazz trio during dinner, and then the finale of Get Funked playing two evening sets. Well, where to start.. Firstly thank you. We asked you for a first class soul / funk and disco band. We got more than that in the form of "Get Funked". Myself and Claire are still speachless having watched Get Funked lay down some serious grooves, so much so that my 80 year old Grandmother actually got up and danced!!. Our event last night was a huge success largely due to James and the rest of the band. They were amazing and definitely 'THE BEST' entertainment we have had for any of our roof terrace parties this summer. They also had fantastic feedback from our clients, the events team that I work with are dying to know where I found them, so perhaps expect a few more bookings from SJ Berwin. Just wanted to say a huge thank-you to you and the band 'Get funked' who played at our wedding June 14th. The band were beyond any of our expectations and a real hit with all our guests. They created an amazing atmosphere and great fun was had by all, young and old! Everyone we speak to comments on how good the band were and have asked for your number.
